Faces & Voices of Recovery: National Recovery Month Calendar
The theme for 2020 National Recovery Month is Join the Voices for Recovery: Celebrating Connections.
What is Recovery Month?
Now in its 31st year, Recovery Month celebrates the gains made by those in recovery, just as we celebrate improvements made by those who are managing other health conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, asthma, and heart disease.
Each September, Recovery Month works to promote and support new evidence-based treatment and recovery practices, the emergence of a strong and proud recovery community, and the dedication of service providers and community members across the nation who make recovery in all its forms possible.
International Recovery Day is a global celebration that welcomes EVERYONE in the world supporting recovery from ALL ADDICTIONS to participate for free. Register to launch your own online colorful virtual fireworks on September 30th and watch as you and others around the globe show the world that we DO recover.
We embrace all addictions and all recovery pathways. With over 80 structures (such as Niagara Falls, the Ben Franklin Bridge, the Aloha Towers, and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame) we’re also helping to turn the world purple on the 30th. Join us!
